James Corden did an excellent job on the Father's Day episode season 47. He actually made tears not sad on Sesame street. He got teary eyed and choked up with his Father's Day present, which added a really sentimental moment to the silliness. So kudos to James Corden for pulling that off.

He was funny and touching at the same time, and it really did play to the kids watching with the different hats going on and off in ridiculous fashion. So James Corden did a really great job. He was able to show a range of emotions in a kid-friendly way and was memorable despite the skit only being a few minutes long.

And even though the performance was strong from the start, he actually picked it up towards the end. James Corden's performance got better and better, which always deserves an A. So excellent job, James Corden.

My one note for the next time Mr. Corden is on Sesame Street is to throw in a song and a dance so you have a shot an A+. I was really unpleasantly surprised to find that there was not so much as one line sung in the entire skit.

What Do You Think James Corden's Sesame Street Performance?

How do you think James Corden did? Do you agree that he wasn't utilized to his full potential even though he showed great range?
