Neil Patrick Harris as the disgruntle Fairy Shoe Person was an A+ for sure, all the way. So glad to see that he did a song and dance number because he nailed it all the way through, and it was one of the most phenomenal song and dance numbers this critic has ever seen on Sesame Street after watching at least 150+ episodes.

The role was perfectly played. Neil Patrick Harris was exaggerated just enough to really play to the kids in the audience. It was just disgruntled enough to read clearly but not get too scary or too over the top, which is too negative a vibe for Sesame Street. This is where everything's a-ok after all.

Neil Patrick Harris played well with both the puppets and the other actors, so all around great job. From start to finish the acting, singing and dancing the whole way through, Neil Patrick Harris just really nailed it as the Fairy Shoe Person.

And I've got to say his costume was fantastic on top of that, and even came into play during the skit. The shoelace tie was perfect, and not once did Neil Patrick Harris let the wings get in the way of his performance. The Fairy Shoe Person gets an A+ from the Sesame Street Critic, take that Tooth Fairy.

What do you think of Neil Patrick Harris' performance?

Is it one of the best Sesame Street musical numbers of all time? Or was Neil Patrick Harris a tad too disgruntle? You be the critic!
